Question about HP LaserJet 1320 Printer

My laserjet 1320 (2015d printer) has the paper jam light on and wont work. Have rebooted and turned on and off. what else can i do?

    I have the HP laserjet 2015d. the paper jam light remains steady so i cant use the printer. I have rebooted the printer. I also would reboot holding the "go" button. I have pulled out the paper tray to see if there was a blockage. no. i pulled out the toner as well as opening up the straight-path output and nothing is there. what can i do?

Hi there you need to open the printer and take out the paper that is stuck up inside the printer and reboot the printer and it should be alright.

    i ave taken everything out to get to the guts of the printer. there is no paper in the printer.

    Thanks for replying, since there is nothing stick up in the printer the next solution is: you should take is to uninstall and reinstall the drivers for the printer,then restart printer and try to print from it.

OK.

Did you remove all traces of paper by opening the lid and checking?
Sometimes, paper can rip off and still be lodged inside the rollers of the printer causing this error.

May have to disassemble the toner cartridges to look inside.

Also, remove the paper tray(s) and look inside for paper that has been partially pulled into the printer.

    i have taken the papertray and cartridge out. i see nothing there to jam the printer. When i press the Green "go" button nothing happens. When i turn on the printer it does not cycle thru the lights like it should. Automatically has steady yellow light on paper jam.

Is there any text to indicate what this light refers to?

In general, you might want to remove paper trays, and use a compressed air can to spray inside the printer, especially the paper path. Oftentimes, paper dust will impede a photo-optic sensor, and keep an indicator light lit when there i no real reason for it. It can also give you a paper jam indication when there is none.

So blow out all paper dust to get the printer to work correctly now.

Hp laserjet 2015 printer shows an indicator light error that theres a paper jam but actually no paper jam or paper particles . I have cleaned aii the sensors and checked the paper path. Powers on well...


restart it
if problems insist check if sensors are working
if are working you need to replace motherboard
of your printer that cost to high
you better replace your printer

My HP CP2025 printer says it has a paper jam even after we removed the paper. I've turned it off, unplugged it, and still says paper jam when re-started. i'm not sure what else to try.


This could be because one of the sensors was damaged by the paper jam.

Try doing a hard or reset or nvram:
1. Turn the printer off
2. Hold down the right arrow and the cancel button
3. Reboot the printer while holding the buttons and hold until permanent storage is displayed. Let go of the buttons and wait for the ready message on the display.

If this doesn't work it could be a hardware failure and will require service (it's either the formatter or the dc controller)

Orange light is flashing


I cleaned out the printer by removing any access toner. Made sure again no paper was stuck and then it worked.

Printer wont work


try to remove cartridge and look down in to printer, use flash-light or lamp to find. Also chek fuser unit ( exit unit) from paper.

Will not print after pulling forward a jammed paper


make sure the paper didn't tear and a peace got jammed somewhere in there. then reset the printer.

HP LaserJet 2200dn wont fee paper


Check if the Cover are firmly closed, also look out for any piece of paper jammed the printer.

If it is ok, then check to move the roller and clean it out if possible.

HP Laserjet 3050 No paper pickup


My printer now spits out the paper all over the place and jams up all the time. Did not happen when I first got my 3050 a few months ago.
