Yes, all the wires must be connected. It is to stop you watching DVDs whilst driving. You can only watch in Park. The Navigation feature should work in Drive though.
My head unit clarion vZ401 plays only region 1. I live in Australia and this head unit is now ******** me as all DVDs sold in Australia are region 4. Can some please tel me where to buy a hack cd or add on . Wayne
connect it to the ground and your video will play, you dont necessary have to connect it to the parking brake, just ground it out, and your dvds will play, if you dont ground it out, the dvd video wont show, it will give you an error message saying that you need to stop driving in order to watch dvds
you can by-pass it just buy a toggle switch and put the red wire from the toggle switch on the skinny yellow wire from your deck and put the black wire from toggle switch to your black ground from your deck and car wires and flick it and watch dvds while driving
I have a 7in in dash dvd player but it does not want to play cds or dvds. it gives me an error notice. it won't even eject the cds. Where can I fix it?
