On this machine, you can check the bobbin tension by removing the bobbin and bobbin case together. Hold onto the thread coming off the bobbin and let the rest dangle. Jerk the thread upwards once or twice. Look at how the thread unwinds. If the thread doesn't move, then the tension is too high. If the thread unwinds more than an inch or two, the tension is too loose. Adjust the tension by tightening or loosening the screw on the side of the bobbin case. See page 13 of the manual (page 30 in the PDF) to make sure that the bobbin is properly positioned in the bobbin case. See page 19 (page 36 of the PDF) for the bobbin thread tension.
Apparently some Revlon brand products are actually sold through a company called Helen of Troy, L.P. This is the link to the Helen of Troy home page: http://www.hotus.com/
This is the link to the Helen of Troy Consumer Services web page listing contact information for the various brand name products the company sells: http://www.hotus.com/consumer-services/
The contact information for Revlon brand products is listed in the first entry, Personal Care, Retail Consumer Services.
I suggest you contact the Helen of Troy company and ask about the availability of instructions / a manual.

Yes it should work, connect the RCA video out (yellow connector DTV Converter) to the RCA video in (yellow connector TV set). Then connect the RCA Audio out (Red-Right White-Left DTV converter) to the RCA audio in (Red-Right White-Left TV set).
Then setup your converter box according to the manufacture's instructions.
