So when you connect it to your PC you can't read it like a flash drive? You should see a drive that is your media player. Open it just as if it were any other folder on your pc. There will be a Pictures or images folder. If not you should be able just drop it at the root.

If this doesn't help you can give me the specific model number and I will try to further help.

I dont know how to upload pictures to my Coby MP705

Pictures you want to put on the MP705 should have JPEG format:
pictures should have JPG or JPEG (capitals or small letter) extension behind its name, like photo1.jpg or mypicture.jpeg . Keep in mind that pictures with high resolution can be too large for the memory capacity your player !

You can put pictures into the player with:
> Windows Explorer:
Select start in the left corner below of the computer screen and explore
'My Computer': look for a removable disk with a capacity of 1 , 2 or 4 GB , depending on the memory your player has.
When you double click the MP705, 2 folders should show up:
1. Media: for all content that can be reached from within the player
2. Data: for all content that can be reached only, when connecting to a computer.
'Drag and drop' or 'copy and paste' pictures (JPEG) from the computer into the Media folder.
When exploring the player as a removable disk,
before taking out the USB cable
always go to the safely remove hardware icon in the right corner of the computer's screen below: left click and select the player's disk to disconnect
> Windows Media Player 11
Right click on the upper black bar to see the Help topic and left click on Help for how to transfer pictures with WMP11.
When you need downloads for the MP705, enter in the address bar of Internet Explorer. Next enter MP705 in the Product Search bar in the page top right side and all support for this player shows up.

I need 'coby media manager' but where do i get it from? My mp3 is a mp705-4g

You can go to the Coby support site for a download of Coby Media Manager.
The manager is called Coby Media Manager fix for MP822 and is also suitable for the model MP705. See next list for all supported players.

Go to the download page of Coby Media Manager fix for MP822:
Download the Windows or Mac supporting version that matches your Operating System on your computer. Follow up the instructions.
After installation run Coby Media Manager.
In the page top select:
Tools > Device Manager... >
In Devices List select MP-705
click in the middle Add
click right below OK to setup your Favorite Device

I'd appreciate your comment if this was helpful or if you need more help.

Pictures onto the coby mp705?

I found the easiest way is to open the MediaManager to the

photos section
open folder with photos
drag and drop the ones you want to use
it will ask if you want to add them
click yes.
wait until they are added to MManager
Highlight them (Edit/Select All)
right click on one of the pictures select synchronize

I also reduced my photos to 160x128 pixels so they don't take up much room - 71 photos = 2.5 MB

Also used the same method for adding video and music. Which is nice with music because when you add new music those titles are highlighted already. Then right click on one of the new songs, choose synchronize.

Coby MP705-2G mac support?

I work for Coby technical support. Our customer service phone number is 1-800-727-3592.

Yes, you can drag and drop files directly into the Coby. Actually, that's the easiest way to add music to any regular MP3 player. You may need to open the player (double left click the icon you see) to reveal the internal storage.

If you feel this solution doesn't deserve a good rating, please let me know why so that I may better assist you. If there is anything more I can do to help, I will!
