Remove back of unit and check defrost heater has not become detached, otherwse the is only two possibilities, one a defrost fault and although you say the defrost tube is clear the only reason it does not flow is due to a restriction, what can happen is that the water backs up the drain pipe and then freezes before the water in the external tray can evaporate. The problem is that the water freezes in the drain, either because the door is not sealing good, it's open too often or there is mold in the catching tray and tube. Best solution is to take a turkey baster (pump), disconnect the flexible tube from the tray, by pulling down, take a large cup with very hot water mixed with a spoon or 2 of Clorox, fill the baster with that mixture and pump it on the drain tube. You have to do it several times, water will come out, but do it until you hear a "woosh" sound and the water goes freely on the drain. Also spill some of that mixture in the tray so it kills the mold.

Hi, Could you get me a model # so I can look this up and give you instruction. Some models require an after market drain heater.

Hi, The defrost drain behind the rear freezer panel is plugged. Remove the rear panel and clear the ice away from the drain. Then you will need to flush the drain hole with hot water to make sure it is open.
Some models require an after market drain heat kit.
Please get me your model # and I can look this up to let you know if you need that heat kit.

Unplug the power to the Fridge, take the items out of the freezer. There is a bottom tray that's inside the freezer that has 2 or 4 screws, remove the screws that holds the floor to the freezer and lift it out. You will probably see a sheet of ice on the bottom of the freezer. You may have to take off the back cover which is inside the freezer, it covers the evaporator. Then you will want to defrost the ice, do not use a heat gun it will melt the inside of the freezer. Best way to thaw it is leave the power off and melt it with hot water (not boiling). Either wet vac out the water as it melts or use a hand towel to mop it up. Sometimes a turkey baster will work to squeegee it out. There is a drain hole in the back that you will see as the ice begins to melt. That needs to be clear and the only way to clear it is to cover it with hot water. You will know that it clears and working when you see the water drain out thru the drain hole in the back of the inside of the freezer. By the way the drain drains thru a pipe thru a tray that's on top of your compressor. That's what heats it and makes it evaporate. Be advised that as you see that it is clearing, you can stop dumping water down there as some may get on the floor as the pan may overflow and dump water on the floor. If that happens, just mop up the water from the floor. Now put it back together again and plug it back in and you should have no further problems.
