How To erase songs from my mp3 player

I have a Phillips GoGear 4 GB MP3 Player i want to erase some of the song off of there

Connect your player to your PC. Open Windows Media Player or Windows Explorer, and select the player on the left panel (the device will display as Player or GoGear, depending on the device you have). Once the contents of the player are listed, you can delete content you don't want.

Check your settings in the player under USB or MODE see if you can set it to MSC mode.

U DO NOT REQUIRE ANY SOFTWARE TO ADD SONGS TO UR PHILLIPS MP3 PLAYER. JUST USE UR USB CABLE TO CONNECT WITH THE PC. THEN U SEE ONE DRIVE NAMED REMOVABLE DRIVE COMES IN MY COMPUTER. Do a search of your songs, when the search is done, right click on your song, click copy and paste it in to the music folder on your GOGear.

How to delete music from mp3 go gear phillips


To delete files from your mp3 player using Windows Media Player 10:

1. Connect your mp3 player to the computer

2. Open Windows Media Player

3. Click on the icon of your Mp3 player on the left-hand side of the Library

4. Click on the Songs, Tracks, or other Music Folder

5. Find a song or songs that you want to delete

6. Left-click the song once to highlight it

7. Press the “Delete” button on your computer’s keyboard

My phillips gogear 4 gb is frozen


Sounds like a DB corruption. First, back up your songs if you don't already have a back up. You can do this by connecting the Philips to the PC and back up your songs by double-clicking on My Computer, double-clicking on the Philips icon (some computers may not say "Philips" - they will call the mp3 player a "Removable Drive"), and double-clicking the music folder. Create a temporary folder on your desktop, and drag the music files over to the temporary folder.

Once all of your songs are backed up, update the firmware for your player by downloading the most recent version of the Philips Device Manager from Philips' website (make sure you get the one for your exact model), and clicking on the Update tab.

You should be good to go after that.

Loaded music in mp3 thru windows media but still in shuffle mode


try formating the mp3 player and then get the new frimware for it and the putting the songs back on there were did you get the song from

Delete songs from MP3


Try when plugging it in go to the start button.
Click 'Computer' and there should be an icon saying 'Phillips'.
Click and go into the songs and right click to delete.
Not sure if this'll help you out.

Losing songs on my MP3 player


The songs are in the wrong format. Performa  repair to erase all songs from the mp3 player, and start over from scratch.

Cant delete songs
