I would start troubleshooting your problem by turning my attention to the safety mechanisms designed to keep people from getting cleaned by their washers:

  1. Review the action of the latching mechanism for 'locking' the door closed. If the latch is not engaged, the machine will not start.
  2. There is also a secondary safety switch that confirms for the dishwashers brain that the door is securely closed. Check it's action, clean it, confirm it is not damaged and is working.
There are more things that can go wrong with an electronic dishwasher
than the latch and the safety switch, but those are great places to start!

I hope that helps.

Hi,

If electrical power is available to the dishwasher but the appliance doesn’t run, the problem is likely to be a defective door switch.

To solve a door switch problem, you may be able to adjust the door latch’s strike slightly, using a screwdriver (turn off the power to the dishwasher at the electrical panel first).

Thanks for contacting Fixya.

Dc4 has low suction

HI, it's Jim from Crucial Vacuum!

Low suction from your Dyson DC07 can be directly related to basic vacuum upkeep and maintenance. Here's some simple things you can do for your vacuum to help ensure optimal performance and to keep your vacuum running for a long time with great suction.

After every use, make sure to empty your Dyson's dust cup. Allowing for fine dust and debris to rest in your unit's dust cup for a long period may cause your unit to become clogged.

Wash and clean your unit's filter screen weekly. To do so, empty your filter screen outdoors to take off any excess debris and then clean under running water until the water comes out clean. Allow the filter screen to fully dry before inserting it back into the unit. This may take up to several hours. Be sure to allow it to FULLY dry.

Foam and cloth filters should also be washed and dried weekly, by following the same steps from cleaning the filter screen. Do not use any soap, dishwasher, dryer or washing machine to do so. Allow your filters to air dry for 24 hours before re-installing them in your Dyson.

Last, make sure to clear your brush roll of any hair strands or debris monthly and to replace at least every year. When examining your brush roll take note of the condition of the bristles. Are they loose? If so this would be a good time to change your brush roll.

While checking the brush roll you might as well examine your Dyson's belt. With use the belt will stretch out, lessening the tension on the brush roller. Lesser tension diminishes the brush roller's turn rate and speed. So if your belt feels loose as well replace that.

All of the previous general maintenance tips will help improve your vacuums suction and overall performance.

How to order / replace motor exhaust foam filter?

Hi, it's Allie from Crucial Vacuum!

Maintaining your unit's filter clean and clog-free is crucial in keeping your unit working properly. Your Dyson DC39 has a washable and reusable pre-filter, part number 923413-01.

Washable filters are recommended to be washed after every 1 or 2 uses and replaced every 3 to 6 months, depending on the use of your unit.

First, make sure your unit is 'off' and unplugged. Remove the dust bin by pushing the button next to your unit's handle and remove the filter from the bin. Wash your filter under running lukewarm water until the water runs clear. Allow your filter to air dry for 24 hours before placing it back into your unit. Do not use any soaps or detergents and only dry your filter naturally. Placing your unit in a dishwasher and/or dryer may damage the filter.

Having a spare filter is a great idea to have while washing the unit's filter.

Where to find WA80V3 control panel

Even if you do replace the panel you still need to get rid of the cockroaches because it will keep on happening. Since the panel may be hard to find I see no other alternative then to replace it with what they suggest. I see no other option except for getting rid of your washing machine and buying a new one, so for the $60 they want to fix it seems well worth it.

Good luck,

Marty

How often do I wash filter for dyson dc33 upright vacuum cleaner

Hi Mary,

In normal use, you should wash the filters in your DC33 at least once every 3 months. Use cold water without detergent - do not wash in a dishwasher or washing machine. Allow at least 24 hours for the filters to dry completely before replacing them in the machine - it may help to place them somewhere warm, such as by a radiator.

For step-by-step guidance on maintaining the filters, please see our online Support guide:

With microwave door shut oven continues to run

The door switch when closed seems to give a feedback to the processor which is triggering continuosly the circuit.
Please check on the board for insect secretion or dirt that seems to RUN the board when the door is shut.
Wash the board and replace, check the connectors to be tight and test.
if not there are errors in the board/ control panel which could be stuck with the start button in ON state. remove panel to confirm.

The suction on my eureka optima stopped working but the roller still works, what might i do to fix it?

Hi there. Most suction problems are due to a blockage. Start with the base and look carefully for debris that is stopping air flow. You may have to remove the base plate to get to the problem. I am including a link to the manual for your machine. look on page four so see how to remove the base and check for blocked airways. http://www.eureka.com/service/manuals/75287_eng.pdf
