Question about Intel D102GGC2 Motherboard
Posted by Anonymous on
Yes you can. but make sure that you buy the exact same type of RAM stick that you have and put it in the other RAM slot so the Dual Channel feature will be active (dual channel makes data transmission/processing faster) and making your systems memory 1GB. However, your motherboard can utilize or handle up to 2GB or RAM so you can put also a 1GB RAM stick which will make your systems memory a total of 1.5GB (that will be the case if you really dont want to lose the 512MB that you currently have,
Hope this helps.

If you have spare unused memory slots, then yes you can just add more.
If all the slots are filled you will have to remove some of the memory to fit a larger module
Your board has 2 slots, and can take a maximum of 2 GB
Here is your boards manual http://downloadmirror.intel.com/15112/eng/D102GGC2_TechProdSpec.pdf
