Question about HP PSC 1350 All-In-One Thermal Printer

1 Answer

Replaced cartridges I had printer cartridges refilled at Walgreen's, but printer refused to work. (I've had them refilled before with no problem) This time, printer continued to give an "E" sign. So I brought new HP cartridges to replace the refilled ones. In the meantime, before I brought brand new ones I think I changed some stuff on my printer trying to get the refilled cartridges to work. I think it was the port and one other place having to do with the printer. I can print a test but I can not print a document. I have a hp psc 1350 all in one. Yes, I thought it was because it was offline, so I unchecked the offline to online, still its not working.

How can I make printer recognize refilled cartridge on lexmark prevail pro 705

Refilled cartridges will not reset the ink levels. The printer will still recognize it as empty.

Please be advised that refilled/remanufactured cartridges could damage your printhead and will not be covered under warranty.

Recalibrating a refilled black ink cartridge for a photosmart 7960

your printer probably cannot recognize one of both cartridges
clean the contacts of the cartridges and the contacts of the cartridge carrier  with a wet towel
if that does nt work your ink cartridge has probably overheated  because air has left in the cartridge after refilling and must be replaced
check here the right way for refilling

Canon printer problem

hi

the canons do look to see if they new original or 'fake' cartridges
often the chip on the cartridge will tell the printer that it it over used and refuse to accept it

try a new black and see how it goes
sometimes things are designed to wear out and not work

many printer makers do this with their cartridges and drums
my laser has done this recently

Which black cartridge does this need?

Yes you can refill the cartridges. Also Walgreen's refill cartridges now. $10. for black and $15. for colr cartridge refills. I've been using their refills and they work fine. It's less mess that doing it myself. And they use good quality ink... But you can refill them. They also carry universal refill kits at walgreen also. Also the cartridges are not hard to find you can order them at several places online. Google x1240 for sites. Also Staples sell the cartridges.

HP PSC 2355 Won't accept refilled ink cartridges

If problem is what I think it is (that is if you cleaned whole thing and it is connected proprely), you have only one option. To buy at least three cartridges...problem is due a small trick made by HP. Printer remembers at least two cartridge serial numbers, and then wont accept refilled ones. But if you first stick one, then the other, and on the end the third one(only this one should be really full) it should reset printer and it should foul it to accept it. But on some printers it needs up to five cartridges! What a waste of money :( Anyway, hope this helps...
