Hello,

I advice you uninstall the driver from your system and reinstall back on your system after uninstalling, there could be problem while installing the driver at initial stage which was not notice or perhaps the driver is malfunctioning, nevertheless, uninstall the driver from your system and reinstall back and ensure you restart your system after the reinstallation, this should fix the problem.

Take care.

Hi, I would suggest that you do a adware and virus scan because this can affect the way computer runs. Also do an update from microsoft. Then try again. Good luck.

I have an epson stylus TX110 and it was printing fine today, but then as is sent a job from adobe it prepared to print (made usual noises) but then didnt take any paper and just went quiet. I've tried...

Try purging your temp files. If it's a usb connection try a different usb port. Since it can print from scan and do a test nozzle print then it's not getting data from the pc to the printer. If a different port doesn't work either, and if purging your temp files doesn't work try it on a different computer if possible. You may need to reinstall the driver for it.

oh and make sure you don't end up with one of those 'oh duh' moments :) ... check both ends of the cable to make sure it didn't become loose or unplugged :)

Hello, I installed GIMP but still my pc doesn't recognize my mp280 scanner. Printing does succeed though. thank you for your support!

It's possible you don't have the scanning drivers installed. Head to the Canon driver download page and select your operating system on the right. You'll probably want the "MP280 series MP Driver Ver. 1.01" for Windows.

PC not reconizeing **** drive

Try this, "Start" "run' type in "regedit" then ok, in the left field click the "+" next to "Hkey_Local_Machine" + next to "System', + next to "CurrantControllSet", + next to "Control", + next to "Class", then click on {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} then in the right field, right click on "upper filters" then delete, right click on "lower filters" then delete, restart pc. See if this works for ya.

Scan views fine; prints fuzzy

Try to change the dpi to the maximum, maybe 600 dpi. This will make the picture more defined.

You need to install the print driver and Sharpdesk before you connect the USB cable.

Not printing on last copy

My guess is it?s probably the print head. These things are designed to print on single sheets so even though it?s probably well within specs it still doesn?t have enough force to push an image to the last page. Less likely but never the less a possibility this could also be caused by inconsistent paper in the two boxes. Continuous feed, multi-part forms in a box are made by several manufacturers and have different characteristics. -You might try flipping the box of forms from the printer that works to the one that doesn?t just to make sure it?s not the forms. When I used to use multipart forms we would place orders for several boxes of the same form and occasionally some would be from a different manufacturer. The paper looked the same but the characteristics were way different. By the way we tried to do four-part but could never print beyond three part forms. Our fix was that we decided we only needed one in-house copy. -If the problem doesn?t follow the paper then I would suspect the print head. Panasonic print heads are fairly easy to replace and fairly inexpensive so I would try changing it out. With a lot of use the print heads do wear out so even if this doesn?t solve this problem you?ll have a spare when your vertical characters start looking wavy?. Let us know if you have any other questions and please don?t forget to rate this post.
