Question about Dell Inspiron 710m Notebook

1 Answer

WHY DO I HAVE TO CLICK SO MANY TIMES TO GET TO THE NEXT PAGE

I'M REALLY FRUSTRATED AT THE FACT THAT EVERY TIME I CLICK A BUTTON like "GET ASSISTANCE"....I have to click it like 2 or 3 times before it goes. What could the problem be? I've troubleshooted with DELL and of coure they want money (it's recession time! So I didn't pay). I reloaded IE and that didn't help--it made matters worse. Any advice?

Recession is hitting everyboady buddy..
Well try one thing ...Click on Tools menu, open internet options,go to advanced menu, Uncheck Enable third party browser extensions. Hit apply and Ok. Restart your computer. If this works good. Otherwise its time to reset your computer.

I used my acer aspire 5315 and restored to factory default using empowering technology and now everytime i start up it keep trying to reinstall the restore programe that came with the computer

There are two basic ways to restore Acer 5315 PC Notebook to the original setting. The first method you can try to pressing the key Alt + F10 for 5 times while startup process appears on the Acer screen. Usually this way will restore the original setting automatically.
And the next method you may need to use system restore at the first time you’ve got your Acer 5315 laptop. Here are steps to follow:
Log on as the Administrator => Start => All Programs => Accessories => System Tools => and click the System Restore. System restore will run and here you should see the Welcome System Restore page appear. Click Restore my computer button to an early time if it’s not already
selected. Click next to continue the steps.
There is on your Acer 5315 laptop screen a Restore Point page appear, you can select it and then click the most recent system checkpoint it, click a restore point list. After you click the Next button, System Restore message may appear that lists configuration changes that
System Restore will create. Click OK.
For the last step click next button on the Confirm Restore Point Selection page. Now the ‘System Restore’ will restore the previous Windows XP configuration on your Acer 5315 OS system. Just finish it by restarts your Acer laptop.
Now log on again to your Acer 5315 PC Notebook as Administrator and watch the System Restore Restoration Complete page

I have been trying to log into facebook for the last 2 days and every single time it tells me that they are currently fixing my site and to come back in a few hours. Whats up with that!!! Getting very...

I suspect what is happening is you have a "cached" page from that website which is showing you the old page.

Try refreshing page several times rapidly. If that doesn't clear it, in IE go to Tools > Options and clear your browsing history. This will clear out the "cached" (stored) pages and the next time you go to Facebook it will give you a fresh page.

Cannot set the analog time on the Casio 2747.

In timekeeping mode press bottom left button 6x to enter setting mode.
Then hold down top left button until digital time flashes, which indicates your in analog time setting mode. press bottom right button to set the time.
If you hold down bottom right, it will set time at a faster speed.
    Hope this helps

    Onscreen display

I had the same problem when I pushed the wrong button and didn't know which button I had pushed. The Date and Time just blinked. I could change them with the clock buttons. Then I really got frustrated. I saw the display button. I pushed it. It seemed that nothing had happened. Then I pushed it again, and part of the display disappeared. So, I pushed it again and yeah!! the whole display disappeared. So, try pushing the display button enough times to get the display to disappear. You have waited a long time for an answer. I hope you got one before today, 5-18-2009. I am not an expert, and I have no manual. But, I found a way to get rid of the display. I'll try to not push the display button again if I don't really need it. I think that you have to cancel the display before you record. I don't think it can be taken out of the playback.
