Question about Acer Aspire 5102WLMi Notebook
My laptop's latch is broken. When I try to close it, it doesn't close automatically I have to close it then push the latch to the left in order to lock it. I think it's loose.
On most notebooks, there is a VERY small return spring (smaller than a spring from a ball point pen) on the latch that tends to break.

If you've tried to used adhesive and it still won't hold i would assume somebody has to open the Laptop and replace the latch. If you want to pay to have somebody do it for you there is a third party Acer Repair Service. However, the part is available on ebay. Here's a guide on how to disassemble an Acer Laptop. Maybe a tech savy friend can do it for you.
