Canon MP560 not printing, or scanning: Hi, My Canon MP560 is only a few months old, and now when I press the copy button on the machine or select print from the computer menu, an error message comes up. It tells me to turn the machine off then on. I have done this several times and still, no printing and more error messages. Advise, please?

SOURCE: Scanner not working on Canon MP 210

As for the drivers, go to the following link and then click on the "Drivers and Downloads" tab, then choose your operating system. It should then give you the drivers under the "Driver" heading right below the operating system drop-down box. The software is there as well.

SOURCE: MP560 Canon Printer Error 6C10

The above suggestion worked short term, but in about a couple of hours, I'd get the same old error code again. Finally, I found a solution that worked for my MX860 on fixya.com written by "pineworks". The link is as follows: http://www.fixya.com/support/t4097826-aborber_full_error_message

Don't know if you've found an answer to this problem yet, but I had the same issue for about three months. Finally, I found a solution that worked for my MX860 on fixya.com written by "pineworks". The link is as follows: http://www.fixya.com/support/t4097826-aborber_full_error_message

For months, I've had to power off, disconnect from computer, and power on again to kick-start the printing. It was driving me crazy. So far, "pineworks" solution has been a permanent one. Been about a week and have had no problems yet.

SOURCE: Lexmark x9350 will not copy or scan.

Great job on trying to do it both ways, scanning and copying. Try to refresh the printer by uplugging the power adapter from the printer. The power adapter is the black box behind the printer where the power cord is attached. Make sure other end of the power cord is plugged in straight to the power outlet in the wall, bypass any surge device or power strips. Plugged the power adapter back in the printer after 30 seconds. It should automatically turn on. If not, press the power button. Try scanning and copying again. If problem persists, I strongly suggest you contact Lexmark Technical Support to further investigate the hardware problem in the printer. Hope I can assist you more on this.

You can go to printer preferences and change the setting to print Fast and Grayscale. That should allow you to scan and print if needed until the ink cartridges are replaced.

Hi,
Had same problem. I went into control panel and then Devices and Printers and then right clicked the MP560 printer. You'll find a "start scan" option there. Click on it. It works for me, even though my printer still won't scan using the buttons on it...
