Please remove the front panel and clean carefully the contacts of the panel, also repeat the same with your dash connection of the panel. it should be shining. If this wont resolve next afterr checking the voltage on the set along with the auxillary voltage without any fluctuation, check for a good ground connection. loop one to confirm. if the problem stays, open the set and tighten all cords.check on the motherboard for any loose solder connections particularily in the power side. tap the set during the prrocess of service with the power connected. Hope this helps you find the fault.Good day.

I HAVE A 2009 GMC ACADIA WHEN I HIT A BUMP THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON , THE ABS LIGHT COMES ON AND STABILY TRACK LIGHT COME ON WITH A TROUBLE CODE U073 AND A U121

U073 is a communication code from one module to another to simply put it. Code U073 refers to a communication problem with the electronic brake control module ( Which controls ABS/Traction and stability ). I would suspect a loose connection/shorted wiring or even possible internal problem with the brake control module. If the issue occurs after hitting a bump, most likely a loose connection or the wiring rubbing somewhere causing a short from the brake control module.

Why does the CD skip and the radio channels go off air when I hit a bump?

CD skip when hitting a bump is common in factory or low end players also if your player is not secured properly the disc will move slightly and the laser loses it's place, so to speak, for a second. The radio thing could be a loose antenna wire connection, possibly related to the fore mentioned problem. Hope that was helpful.

2007 Kia Optima front vents quit blowing air

If you mean the blower motor is not working at times, it can be the motor, a resistor, or the switch on the dash. Could also be a bad connection in the wiring harness.
When the blower won't work, a mechanic would check for power and ground at the motor.

Cuttinng out

Does it cut out when you are listening to the tuner as well as the cd player? If so, you have a bad connection somewhere. Sometimes the solder joints inside the radio can be cracked and will cut out when you hit bumps. May be a wire that is a little loose. Check all the wiring.
If it only cuts out when you are listening to the CD player, you may need the lens cleaned or the laser replaced. Sometimes the cd player cuts out because the unit has too much wiggle room and it bounces a little when you hit a bump causing the cd to skip or cut out. and there is always the dirty CD. Try cleaning the CD's with windex and a soft cloth like a bath towel. It works great for me and is cheap. Fingerprints can and will cause a cd player to skip.

Faceplate won't open

Had the same problem twice already.

Took it in for service and they charged me 125.00 (USD) to replace the ribbon cable on the inside.

I saved the $$$ and did it myself the second time.

The cable is located here on the Pioneer Website. It comes with instructions and no special tools are needed.
