Mcdevito75 here, I believe you"ll need a special winding key to wind your Seth Thomas Clock, Best Bet, look for a small watch repair shop in your area, they may be able to order a key for you, have all info regarding the clock with you. Winding keys may also be on ebay under Vintage Clocks/watches.

I have a remington pocket watch from my great great grandfather and I don't know what battery it takes please help.

If its that old, it may not use a battery. Older watches usually use a wind up knob. Yours is on top, try winding it clockwise. You should hear some clicks if its working. good luck!

Have old Seth Thomas Metronome ,only key turn about 1/4 turn.Is that normal for vintage one.

It is not normal. Metronome should wind almost the same as a clock. The cause for this 1/4 turn of a winder is that the driving spring do not unwind completely. That means there are mechanical or oiling issues. Show your metronome to any clock repairer (not the watch repairer) and he/she should be able to fix that.

Why is there two places to wind a Seth Thomas Corsair E537-000 clock? Any description on the proper tension for winding?

Two winding arbours are in clocks with chiming, because there are two separategears in one clock and each one is driven by separate mainspring. Description for winding is: Wind each spring as long as you do not feel significant resistance. As soon as you feel the winding goes too hard - stop winding.

Have Seth Thomas Regulator clock...three years old hourly ring tones are out of sequence and time of day: i.e. 7:00PM migh dong five times; 9:00AM migh dong three times etc. Directions for setting time...

Sounds like a strike cam and rack alignment or hang up / sticking issue.

If you have already attempted to follow directions "Many Times" Recommend contacting help in your area.

Setting the correct time on Seth Thomas clock.

Correct technique definitely is CLOCKWISE ONLY. You are unbelievably lucky person if did not damage striking mechanism within 25 years while adjusting hands anti clockwise. If I'd have such a luck, I'd try to play lottery. :))
