I have a Sceptre Naga III X30XSV 30" LCD/TV that is only 3 yrs. old, hardly watched. Recently while watching TV, the picture went out (black screen) and the power LED also went out. I tried made sure the power cord was secure, moved the power plug to another power strip outlet as well as plugging it directly into a wall socket to NO AVAIL. The power LED no longer lights up and there's no picture.

I appreciate your feedback, Nigga-G. However, the TV has been plugged into a surge protector when it went black. I plugged it into another outlet in surge protector, plugged it into the wall outlet, changed the power cable and did the same tests...all permutations did not work.
Still need a solution....

I ordered a replacement power supply ($65 on the web) for my Sceptre TV and this resolved my issue!!!
It was very easy to replace; on the back of the TV, there's a compartment for the power supply - remove the power cord, remove the 4 screws for the compartment cover, unplug the connector to the power supply and it comes right out.
Yes, I'm having the same problem. I'll be watching a show and without notice, the screen goes black (although the voice can be heard). Where can I purchase the power supply that you mention?
Hello. I have the exact same tv. and the same thing happened to me! What i did was buy a expensive Surge Protector and now it works! I hope this info is useful!
