Goto the dealer ship fo the unlock codes that is the only way you will get them or if you bought the car used ask the previous owner for all thpaper work that came with the car new.there will be an unlock code somewhere in the paperwork.some vehicles come this way its called antitheft system that way if someone breaks in and takes the stereo it automatically locks up anthe only way to unlock it is to goto the dealership

I have a radio out of a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am - it is locked when I try to put in another vehicle - how do I unlock (with what code)

Radio code is specific for each and every car. It is specific like anti theft code. You can get it by providing your VIN# and registration details in authorized dealership. Nobody else can provide you. If anybody can provide you that , then there is no meaning of security for your car.

I'm looking to replace the stereo system in my 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix and i'm wondering how to remove it from the car, I'm fairly sure that I can replace it myself I just want to know how to properly...

just pull the trim around the stereo and heater controls towards you, it is held on with pressure clips. You will need some special equipment for you to have the system work correctly. with single din deck the mount is a 99-3302 and double din is 95-3302 and wire data control adaptor is XSVI-2103. This module is needed for the vehicle to properly process info from one device to another, RAP door chimes, headlight chimes are all in this module. all speakers are labelled and makes install fly.

Not so. Becker radios are German products that are put into Mercedes (and other German imports). There are techs who advertise online and provide codes for a nominal fee. Worst case, you can contact BeckerUSA for a code for a bit higher-than-nominal fee.
Pontiac. Nice try.
