Question about HP Mini 1000 Netbook

Hi this sounds like a driver conflict issue, i think your best bet would be fit an external mouse for now, see if it detects that, then goto your control panel, then to system, then hardware manager, look for what i think is called sypatics pad, or something similler to that ( its what ever the pc recognises the touch pad as ), uninstall that completley then, reboot the system, it should then find new hardware, and then automatically install it for you, make sure you remove the other mouse before you restart the system...hope this helps repost if no joy..thanks
