Question about Cell Phones

With nokia 6110 naviagtor connected via usb to my pc, route 66 gives me an error message saying "device not connected" with being the only option. I've re-booted the PC (windows 2000 pro) with and without the 6110 connected and still can't get route 66 to recognise the phone.

Hi,

The first thing i want to say is always use winxp for any USB devices.I am sure Win2000 must be causing this problem.But anyway here are the few thing you can try.

Try connecting your phone to another USB port. Using one port all the time to connect and disconnect USB items a port can develop a range of files associated with configuring the USB connection. Some of these files might actually have been from your phone connected before, or some of these configurations could be from other USB items you connect to this port. Changing ports can often lead to an immediate good connection simply because ther are no conflicting configuration files. If this does not solve your problem, we can now entertain the next process to try.

THIS IS A BIG ONE. This is the last thing to do. Before you try this process, please complete a full back up of your system. This is important as the next step can have side effects you did not entirely expect. AND Second, you might need your XP/2000 Install Disk (not in all cases). What this process is about is renewing all hardware/software configurations relating to USB connections.

Here is what you do:
1. Right click MY COMPUTER
2. Select PROPERTIES
3. Select HARDWARE
4. Select DEVICE MANAGER
5. Select UNIVERSAL SERIAL BUS CONTROLLERS
6. Right click on each USB CONTROLLER and select Uninstall
7. Uninstall all entries
8. Reboot your computer
9. As your computer re-boots it will reinstall all USB connections it detects

THEN, when all other USB items have been configured and connected by the system, you then should try connecting your USB Phone.

If these suggestions are implemented and you are still have connection difficulties with your computer, there are several other things to try. If you have another XP Computer you should try connecting your player to another computer to see if the problem is a phone problem or not. If it still has this problem with the next computer, it maybe be a fault of the phone.

IF YOU HAVE COMPLETED ALL the above mentioned and still have a problem, you should next contact the seller of this machine for further instructions of what to do next.

Hi...

are you a technician? because maybe you have disconnected terminal in USB Port in your CP! make sure that the connection is Connected to PCB.

BEFORE PLUGGING UP TO COMPUTER

menu -> settings -> wireless and networks -> USB utilites -> connect storage to PC (click this button) -> it'll give you a message "Connect USB cable to use mass storage" ... connect the usb cable -> the android man will pop up w/ a msg saying "Phone connected to computer via USB. Tap the button below to copy files between computer and Android's USB storage" theres a button below that says "connect USB storage" (click on this).

How to connect to the pc

bad news you will have to call Samsung Tech and try to understand them and do a full reset then download the OS from Kies....

Because you need an application to read your nokia phone to your pc if you want pc suite to read your phone to your pc 1st open your internet browser 2nd go to www.brothersoft.com 3rd search for nokia pc suite then download it and installed it 4th after you installed .restart your pc then now connect your phone to your pc hope it will helps you alot

When i connected my mobile nokia-2690 with my PC , PC gives the message " one of the USB devices attached to this computer has mulfunctioned and windows doesnot recognize it."


Actual your question is uncompleted. What is to be loaded from the PC and as per PC comments you are requested to set write/installed the particular software then only your cell phone is downloaded movies and etc

Fuse is completely frozen. no functions work. will not turn off, screen says "disconnected" . just charged it.


Try and reset the player. Reset the player: 1. Slide and hold the Power switch up for approximately 20 seconds. 2. Release the Power switch. 3. To turn the player on, slide the Power switch up then release instantly. Then try this Connect the player to your computer. The screen on your player should turn on, show 'Connected' and indicate the battery charging or full. - If the player does not turn on try other USB ports or on another computer if one is available. Make sure you are connecting directly to the computer USB port and not to a USB hub. - If there is nothing showing on the screen and the player does show up in as a storage device in an explorer window, then the players screen is just not working. If you receive the error "USB Device Not Recognized" on the computer, the player is most likely failed. Originally my hp officejet 6110 had a scan error, cannot connect to pc. Then I did a #6 reset and now says no scan options, you need to install or run HP software for feature. I updated the drivers but...

How to use Route 66 GPS set-up in nokia 6210 phone. Have tried many times with no success. Very annoying. ta Bill


I think Route 66 was used in Navigator 6110 Navigator only and it was linked with phones IMEI code. The 6210 Navigator is equipped with Nokia Maps 2.0 and Route 66 isn't compatible I think.
