Question about Dell Inspiron E1505 Notebook
I take it that you can connect to your network, but when your browser comes up it says it can't connect to the page....is that correct? If so, do this rpocedure to check the settings. Also, there is a good chance that you are infected with Malware, if these settings have been tampered with, so you will need to do a malware sweep to clense your system.
Open a browser window, don't worry about it not connecting, look to the right and click on the drop down menu "Tools". Scroll to the bottom and click on "Internet Tools". Look at the top of this window and click on "Connections". Look at the bottom and click on the button "LAN settings". The only box that should be checked here is the top one that says "automatically detect settings". Make sure all other boxes are unchecked. Click apply and ok and reboot the machine. Once it reboots try to connect to the internet. If you have MalwareBytes Anti-Malware Tool, run a quick scan only, then click on "Show Results" when the scan is complete, then click on "Remove Selected". If you donlt have the program, get it here, it is free.
