Question about Frigidaire (PL36WC40EC) Stainless Steel Kitchen Hood
Our Frigidaire PL36WC40EC stopped working after a power outage. Everything else in the house is fine. This was not a storm just an outage. Nothing works, not the lights or the fan. I checked the fuse for the lights and it is fine. I can say that I cut the breaker off for the hood for over 24 hours and a tall skinny piece that is labeled safety transducer remains hot to the touch even with no power going to the hood. Please help with any suggestions.
If you cannot fix - too expensive or whatever - consider a replacement with a five year 100% parts and labor warranty and in-home service. Imperial (made in USA) is the only range hood manufacturer that offers this. More information here: www.vent4less.com
