Question about Whirlpool Washing Machines
My washer will not continue the cycle. I will start a load and when it gets to spin it stops. I have to keep pushing the dial in and out hoping it will kick in. It was purchased in 1992. What is the normal life span?
It must be the lid switch is on the way out. Contacts inside it are probably arced pretty bad. Might just be a loose lid switch. or a loose lid hinge or the probe that hits the lid switch is not always hitting the sweet spot.
