Hi,
This model has inbuilt self check system so if it does not turn on for some reason, its standby red light would start blinking in specific order.
Standby light would blink number of times with long pause of 3 seconds, so let me know how many times standby light blink from pause to pause when tv refuse to turn On.
That is an error code that has info about defective section in tv or possible cause of problem.
Thanks.

6 times blinking light shows problem with A, B and M boards and as you said problem is intermittent so I would say to check lose connections/ dry solder joints on these circuit boards.
Also check IC504 on A board of tv, intermittent/ periodically problem comes due to cold/ dry solder joints.
Hope these info will help you.
    Thanks.

Need manual for Sony Tv Model KV34HS510

For either the owner manual or the service repair manual either visit the Sony site or Google the model number with which manual you want.

If the set does not work at all look for the power light to be blinking a specific number of times with a pause--that would be a error code.

How do I connect wireless headphones to my sony kv34hs510

Are your headphones blutooth or infra-red? Is your Trinitron Blutooth or infrared enabled to allow you to listen to it thru your headphones? If so, there must be an on/off switch that would actuate the Blutooth or infrared meachanism on the Trinitron itself. Otherwise, you WON'T be able to hear sound.

Sony fd trinitron wega kv34hs510

The set may have a self check mode or error buffer--most of these that do with the set turned off: Display, 5, vol. down and then power.

If it has the buffer a box will appear in middle of screen with several items listed-----------all should have a 0 to the right of them---a number indicates a error detected and noted.

If no error found or no display for that contact Sony for the reset code which usually is gained by going into tech menu (different from error menu) and with remote pressing 7 and enter---this does a hard reset and returns set to all factory defaults--if that did not cure it you have a interesting trouble...........

My kv34hs510 will not power up and the standby light flashes 6 times and then repeats. What is wrong? Ron....

There is a power issue,tv goes into standby (safety) mode. For self-diagnostics, press Display,channel,5,volume - minus not plus, then press power. You have no horizontal output, check IC206,C516,C515....for service mode press Display,Channel,5,volume + plus, then power,press8,then enter......hope this helps....

SONY KV34HS510 always worked perfectly but today it wouldn't turn on by remote or button on TV. It makes the same "click" sound which it always did before coming on but it just immediately clicks again to...

You need to bring it to a TV technician. There is a relay inside the TV which can be blocked by any few errors that may occur in your TV, for protection. Only a tech may discover the problem.

Sony WEGA KV34HS510 Clicks when turned on, but get no picture and the standby light flashes.

A 3 flash shutdown indicates a low voltage condition in the power supply (the D board) If you have electronic experience, I can walk you through some things to check. Otherwise, it's time to call a technician
