Track ball on my blackberry curve is sticking

Debris gets stuck under there. Get a can of "forced air" blow it on there while rolling the ball. If that doesnt get it out.. There are youtube videos on how to take the trackball out and clean it, but be careful. The 1st time I did that, I broke a lil prong off the housing trying to get it off.. and some of the parts are very tiny, and try to roll away. So be cautious if you go that route.

How do I get Firefox on my iPod

Error 0x80040fb3

Hi,
Typically its caused by a contact not having a FIRST NAME, LAST NAME and COMPANY NAME. (don't confuse FIRST NAME and LAST NAME with FULL NAME, they're not the same!!)
Do an advanced search in Microsoft Outlook to find contacts with blank First Name, Last Name, and Company fields.

1. Open Contacts in Microsoft Outlook.
2. Open the Tools menu.
3. Select Advanced Find from the Find submenu.
4. Select the Advanced tab.
5. Click Field.
6. Select First Name from the Frequently-used fields submenu.
7. Select is empty from the Condition list.
8. Repeat steps 5 through 7 for Last Name and Company.
9. Click Find Now.

Any contacts you find as a result of this need to be modified to include a first, last or company name (not all 3, just one of the 3)

By upgrading to DTM 4.2.2 or higher, that problem should be ignored (skipped), so if its still happening, I'd first go through the steps listed in that link above.

please rate this solution.
Thanks for using FixYa.

Canon mv800i fault

OK after searching the net to fix this problem and no one having the answer I decided to fix it my self.
My Canon MV 800i cam had the same fault to I took it to bits. Inside there’s the cams main board that has loads of ribbon cable connecting on to it from its bits like lens, power supply, viewfinder , cassette deek. I unplugged all of these and removed its main board and cleaned all the ribbon cables connecting end with isopropyl alcohol, you can use most electrical cleaners should do the some trick. Then just reassembled the cam and tested all fixed
Give that a go and see how you get on

How to Unlock Addresses on your iPod Wi-Fi

The iPod touch has a built-in wireless network adapter that allows you to join Wi-Fi networks; however, in some cases the wireless access point to implement a Wi-Fi network can be configured to an iPod touch join the network. You can configure the access point so that it no longer blocks the iPod from the wireless network.

1. Tap "Settings," then "General" on the iPod touch. Make a note of the 12-digit hexadecimal number listed under that title, which is the address of Medium Access Control encoded in iPod.

2. Connect your computer to a numbered port on the back of the wireless router using an Ethernet cable.

3. Log on to the computer.

4. Start a Web browser on your computer. Directly to the router's configuration utility. The tool is listening on a specific web address that depends on the router. For example, if your router is a Linksys WRT54GS, navigate to the address "192.168.1.1".

5. Open the configuration menu for the MAC address filtering. For example, in a WRT54GS, click on "Wireless" then "Wireless MAC Filter".

6. Re-issued phone

Well if you did the update to WM6 you might be having the same issues others have had... Try this...

Open messenging, then Mesages, then hit menu and press up to highlight "Multimedia Msg. Options", press 3 to goto "multimedia Msg. Profiles. You should see "AT&T MMS" press menu then edit.
Make sure that you see "wireless.cingular.com" in the address field. If you dont have any fields filled out here they are line by line:

AT&T MMS
http://mmsc.cingular.com
(check) in proxy
80
and have MEdia Net selected

That SHOULD get you going, if not post back and I will help you with any other settings you need.

Oster A5 pet clipper-not sure what the part is called, but the piece that pivets back and forth is not moving but the clipper is making noise.

If the power lever (the tab that moves the blade back and forth) is not moving with the blade off, chances are that you have a stripped bakelite gear. Take the two screws out of the cover plate and remove it. Remove the lever. Remove the link (the metal part that the lever connects with). Remove the bakelite gear (the part that the link fits down over). You should then be able to see if the teeth are chewed or worn off to the point that the armature gear will not turn the bakelite gear. If that is the case, replace the gear. Amazon2.gif carries both single speed and 2 speed gears under Oster A5 clipper parts.
Good luck.
