5 times LED blinks in Panasonic PT-47WX42 shows problem with convergence out
chips failure as this tv has two big black ICs STK392-110 as convergence output,
replace them to fix tv problem.
Often it can be as simple as bad capacitors on the power supply board, or if you cant desolder and solder replaceing the power board will usually solve a blinking power light for certain LCD tvs depending on model number but I would need your model number to further assist for your paticular situation
Hit the front of the tv near the blinking light... give it a good rap or two. See if this helps. Helped mine. I had the same problem and the tech who came out to the house told me that it would work and it did! I could hardly believe it but it worked.

In your tv there some problem with power supply. you have to check the followin voltages. Sub 5v SOS ,Main 3.3v SOS A-Board,DTV 9v SOS , Tuner Power SOS. If any one of the voltage fails it will shows 10 blinks.

Is the light blinking constantly or is there a long pause then more blinking. If constant check the lamp door switch . Usually it is broken or jammed. If you jumper it and the set comes on that it. 4 blinks is bad fan.
go to turn tv on,hear a poping noise,once then tv standby lite blinks 3 times repeatily but no picture or audio.can you help me out with this thank you
