To leave a Callback Message on a telephone when you hear busy or
! Press MESSAGE.
To respond to a Message Waiting condition on your telephone:
1. Lift the handset.
2. Press MESSAGE.
A call is placed to the message sender (voice mail system or extension user)
that left the oldest message.
To view information about the messages before responding:
1. Press MESSAGE.
2. Do one of the following.
" To call the message sender, press the Call softkey (if available).
" To delete the message, press the Erase Msg softkey.
" To view the next message, press MESSAGE

Done blinks for two seconds and the deletion will be complete Note AN erased file cannot be restored. During this process don’t remove batteries. Otherwise data may be damage. The recorder should be formatted using only by using the internal FORMAT function found in the recorder's Menu. Formatting using the computer may corrupt system files needed to run the recorder, so computer formatting is not recommended

You can delete all files in a specific
folder by the following steps:
1. Turn on the unit.
2. Select a folder (A/B/C/D).
3. In Stop mode, press FORWARD
continuously until “ALL” appears on

5. Press and hold ERASE for about 3
seconds, all files in the selected folder
will be erased completely (or press
STOP to cancel erasing all files).
May not be linked to date of ride. Device has a limited memory, so you have to erase history when long rides, or frequent rides. When memory is full, device is managing by erasing older data waypoints.
You may also activate intelligent recording of waypoints, that calculates waypoints record when direction or speed changes. This optimizes memory usage.
sorry it sounds like the folder may be lost forever.once you pressed the record button, the recorder knew it as a new recording in that folder.look at it like a answering machine going out message. if you made a mistake,and you wanted to record a new message,the old message would be erased.if your folder was on a cassette recorder, you would have only erased those few seconds.
Look in the RECORD folder for your recorded .WAV files. These files may or may not work with Windows Media Player, which can generally be used to burn music files to a CD in the CD audio (CDDA) format or .WMA music data format. Conversion of the wave files into other formats, such as .MP3 is especially difficult since many programs don't recognize the headerless format that Sansa uses for its recorded .WAV files. I had to use JetAudio to convert them.
