Question about Hitachi Electronics - Others
How do I interupt drive power on a J100-A IGBT inverter drive? Is it as easy as interupting the command signal from the control?
That is not a very clear question. When you say interupt drive power,d o you just want to stop the drive? or do you want to render it safe to work on. To stop the drive removing the drive command signal is fine. or look at the wiring diagram and connect some type of stop button. The drive will stop in whatever mode you programmed it for (coast, braking etc) To render it safe for somone to work on it would require a lockable disconnect switch that can be locked in the open position with a padlock (standard fusable or nonfusable disconnect) If you don't have your manual, you can download one here: http://www.inverter.co.uk/applications/hitachi.htm
