My maytak mde6800ayw elec dryer contros are not responing the display lights are lighting but no matter what button i push it doest not change nor will it start when i hit start button i have power down but when plugged back in returns to prev display and still no response when buttons are pushed

Your motor has fried. It isn't in the Control Panel, the SENSES light wouldn't turn on if it were the CP. If you go to your closest Home Depot, ask the front desk for assistance with Dryer Motors. They will guide you through to get you the right one. They will even tell you how to install it. When you replace it with the new motor, the Dryer will work fine.
