There are a few possibities...
if you remove the lid and take the two t20 screw off the left side panel at the front you could check the pressure chamber and its hose are not blocked. Use the link and go to page 4, part 263834 and 361113. You can also remove 165263 (remove t20 screw via the sump after all filters are removeds) this will expose the pump impellor and you can check for any obstruction. If the d/w is connected via a sealed spigot to the sink, remove the grey hose and unscrew the spigot adaptor from the sink and ensure there are no blockages. There may be water in the base of the d/w (base as below the tank, not under the filter) this will activate the flood safety, so check valve, hoses etc for leaks. You will have to manually clear the water from the base pan to deactivate the safety device. Sit the front of the d/w on a large towel and tip the whole unit forward, the base water will then come out. Whilst you have the side panel off, check that the red rod connected to the pressure chamber is not activating the microswitch.

I hope this helps, Good Luck.

Check the drain line underneath the sink.
It should be suspended just below the counter top.
If it is too low, water from the sink will back fill into the dishwasher.
If the drain is OK,then the dishwasher water valve is defective.

I imagine you've already checked that you're using the correct amount of detergent for the wash programme, and that you're washing the correct quantity of dishes for the wash programme, though if not, try that first!

Is the dishwasher heating the water to the correct temperature? If it's not rinsing at a hot enough temperature, the detergent may leave a residue. In that case, your dishes would probably also be less than entirely clean; they could be slightly greasy when removed from the machine.

Another possibility is that insufficient water is supplied to the dishwasher, so it might be worth checking the tap that lets water through the hose and into the machine. Does the tap turn on fully? Does it turn off properly?

The other thing that might be worth trying is an empty wash: put the machine through a wash programme WITH detergent but WITHOUT dishes, at the programme with the highest temperature. Is all the soap scum washed away? Or is there still a residue inside the machine? If the empty wash works, you probably need to give your machine a maintenance wash once a month or so. This is often the case if you usually wash your dishes a few at a time on a short programme.

I hope some of that helps. Good luck!

You will need to check the inlet valve and the water level pressure switch. It can also be a low pressure in the pump that is giving out the signal for the control board to shut off.
So first of all check the water line throughly to confirm.

The float switch might be tripping. Pull the dishwasher out (if it's under-counter) and tilt it forward gradually to about 20 degrees. If you see a pool of water on the floor, it means that water is getting into the bottom of the dishwasher underneath the washing compartment.

This can simply be caused by a loose retaining nut on the salt compartment. Unscrew the cap from the salt compartment and you will see a large plastic nut underneath. If it's loose, tighten it - you'll need a large pair of waterpump pliers or stilson for this.

Assuming this was the problem, make sure you empty all the water from the bottom before you put it back by tilting it forwards until water stops coming out.

To stop the problem returning, DON'T over-tighten the cap on the salt compartment. Make sure it's on firmly, but if you overtighten it, it will grip the nut and loosen it the next time you remove the salt cap. If the nut is loose, water can get into the bottom of the washer.
