How to remove the rear automatic boot spoiler of a 2005 porsche 911 turbo?

What you need to do is raise the spoiler via the switch to the full extent and place pieces of wood between the spoiler and body, then using a 'C' spanner to fit round the top of the rams and locate into the small hole (i found the multi purpose spanner that comes with pushbikes has just the right fitting) turn each ram 1/4 turn, but be careful because when it releases from the spoiler the ram will retract into its housing with great force taking the spanner with it and damaging the body. good luck!

How do you replace the brake light on the rear spoiler on a 2001 Hyundai Accent?

This is the Spoiler Dude. The spoiler light is attached with screws to the spoiler. You must remove the screws and then the spoiler light will come away from the spoiler. Clip the two wires ( Black & Red ). Attached the new spoiler light ( I can get that for you) with a sleeve. Test the new light with the brake pedal depressed. Screw in the new light and that is it. If you have any questions.

Rear spoiler does not work.

The rear spoiler is controlled by a Rear Spoiler Control Module. Fuse 35 (30A) and Fuse 5 (7.5A) located in the fuse panel behind left side of dash provide power to the control module. After ensuring that the fuses are good, I would toggle the Rear Spoiler Switch to see if the servo-motor works properly. It is located under the steering wheel underneath the flat part of the dash.

Attaching a genuine Lancia rear Evo spoiler to a Lancia Integrale

place the spoiler in the aria you want to fit it and make measurements, so they equal either side mark with a wipeable pen. and then measure the boot edge to where the spoiler is so its straight. check twice the drill the holes out using the the plate of the spoiler for the markings, check twice then drill measure twice. should fit right and look right.

Sound from rear

This is more than likely the rear spoiler. When exceeding 45 mph, the spoiler will deploy but is hard to hear due to the sound of the engine, when decelerating back to 10 mph (or less), the spoiler will return to its stored position. This sounds exactly like the experience you described, so I am guessing that this is the culprit.
There are a few ways to confirm:
1: Seated in the driver's seat, reach beneath the dashboard console, searching for a button/switch. This will be located at the bottom of the console (roughly, right above where your left shin/knee would be positioned when driving). If you find a switch, push it and see if it deploys the Spoiler. You will need to have the key and turned so that electricals may function.
2: Look above your rear window. You will likely see a black piece of plastic above it which would be the spoiler. Look at the gap between it and the window.. ...looking about 1 fit in from the side of the Spoiler, you will likely see the metal hinge that the moves the Spoiler up.
3: This is the most fun solution: drive the car over 45 with a friend driving behind you. Just to be safe, take it up to 50 or 60 and have them watch to see if it deploys. You will not be able to see it from within the beetle unless you lower the back seat and have somebody crawl all the way into the back (which would be terribly unsafe and uncomfortable).

Let us know if this is indeed the issue and have fun with your bug!

1996 850 spoiler

You will obviously need a spoiler, but also a fitting kit which is available from Volvo. It fits onto the inside of the tailgate. Will take about half an hour to fit.
