Question about Fuji Cameras
If your battery is testing good make sure of this or replace as a poor voltage/current factor may be causing the shutter not to get enough power. If this hold good then check if there is any physical damage specially if any sand had gone into the covers. if so use a good air blower to clean and sray out any dust /dirt. if this wont work then you have a serious issue of the shutter/ lens coverr mechanism having a fault. You will need to open only if confident of such work. check for failue of the electronics. power to the circuit or mechanism defect, motor failure or blocks. check using a good magnifier be very careful , do not tamper if not confident. Good day
