Question about Lexmark X2500 All-In-One Printer

Printer when trying to scan I get a message saying my display setting is to low it should be 800x600 and the color should be 256. How do I change this ?

If you are using windows XP
follow following instructions.
start
control panel
(make sure you are not on classic view)
appearance and themes
screen resolutions
left on botom put screen resolution on 800X600 or highre if your computer can handle it and color to highest
This should fix the problem.

If you're using Surface Pro 3 that switches between landscape or portrait modes, ensure your display setting is in landscape mode in order for mf toolbox to run.

At 1440x1200 resolution the monitor (719Sw) visualizes fine, but a window appears saying "input not supported". Does my cpu not support this monitor. Its a P4, 32.99 ghz 504 mb ram machine


Restart the computer
2 While the computer is loading, press "F8" key on the keyboard right before the
computer reads the hard drive or press the "F8" key multiple times in 1 second
interval until the "Windows Advanced Options Menu" appears on the screen
3 Under "Windows Advanced Options Menu", using the arrow key on the
keyboard, select "Enable VGA Mode" then press Enter. Select "Windows 2000
or Windows XP" for your operating system.
4 Wait while the computer is loading and once the computer finishes loading,
5 Right Click anywhere on the blank area on the desktop then click "Properties"

Printer was installed but does not operate..gives a message that the program cannot run with your current display settings at least 800x600 at least 256 colors. I have tried to adjust the display...


Try going to manufactures website and updating your drivers. Look for newest driver and also check if it's compatible with Windows 7. This should help you with an issue. Good Luck

That refers to the PC's display settings. Use the Control Panel to set the display settings as suggested; 800x600 pixils, with 16 bits of color or higher.

Screeen Resolution too low


600x800 for printer.
go to control panel display properties settings tab
click on advanced. click on monitor tab and uncheck hide monitors
uncheck hide modes
click ok. change resolution to 800x600.

that's on your display settings for your monitor..assuming you are on xp, go to start, settings/control panel/display settings/settings, and make adjustments there..

Trying to scan and I get message saying to change display setting to 800x600. How do I do this?


Right click on your desktop, go to properties. On display property click on settings then change the screen resolution to 800x600. hope that help get back to me if that error persist.

You need to try what it says try lowering the or color depth try 1024 X768 256 colors if that doesn't work try 800 X 640 256 colors Right Mouse click on the desktop where a Icon isn't go down to properties regular click go to settings change the screen resolution and color depth and color quality to above suggestions apply changes try your movie
