Question about Tricity Bendix AW850W Front Load Washer
We have a Bendix Autowasher 800 washing machine. Usually at the end of the cycle the door will be able to be opened. The door is remaining closed and there appears to be no spring or give in the handle. Can you help? I cannot find a manual
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Hi, we had something similar happen just before christmas. Our machine seemed to finish a cycle and started making beeping noise with end light flashing. Then when I switched it back on to do another load it just started beeping with end light flashing no matter what cycle was selected. Engineer has been out and advised that it is a fault with the motherboard so has ordered another one. Hope this is of some help. Machine was tricity bendix aw1400w.

if you remove the panel in the front lower right hand coner of the washer you should be able to feel around in there for a plastic cord. pull the cord to manually unlock the door

Well well well - Welcome to the Bendix Club!
Here is the secret!
Push all 4 buttons in!
Turn on the Cold water only!
Set the first dial on 3 dots before the GREEN #12
Set the second dial to snow or cold
Set the third dial to one dot after the green 7....
If this doesnt work...the something is wrong with the machine!
Or email me.

Problem is likely the thermostat. Before replacing internal thermostat check the following:
Tricity Bendix Autowasher models are usually not self heating and dual inlet (hot and cold). If the machine is not self heating, ensure that the inlets are not inverted. Ensure that both inlets have enough pressure.
In case the machine is self heating, check also that the washer is not heating in cold cycle, otherwise you will need to check wiring to heating element.
To get parts contact Tricity Bendix at the number listed in the owners manual, or give us the full model number, as written on service tag.
