Question about Samsung C3050 Cell Phone
I bought a cellphone that has a 2 years SIM lock. I have gone abroad
and wanted to use the phone. Each time I try to send an SMS or do a call, it tells me that this is not allowed due to the active call barring.
I tried to desactivate the call barring, it asks for a 4 digit password that I don't know and that I never set.
How can I desactivate the call barring?
Thanks for any hints you may have.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

The only solution to your problem that comes to my mind is to get your firmware upgraded from Nokia Care. And in future remember the password, or atleast write it down some safe place.

SOURCE: my phone has been barred
plz go to main menu then go to settings and look for call barring option in any of the following submenu.
View missed, received, dialled calls Recent Calls Activate call waiting Settings > In-Call Setup Divert calls Settings > Call Divert Send or withhold number Settings > In-Call Setup > My Caller ID View own number Settings > Phone Status
and then from the CAll Barring menu select cancel
I hope it will help.

Call barring is a service provided by the network/provider and you can only use it if your service provider supports it, Call them and if they were allowing people to use it, you will receive the PIN2 code after the add the number to the list you want to block from calling you!
