The corrector plate and the mirror were a matched set. Even if you found one on an OLD telescope you could not just swap it over to your scope.

If you did the collimation would never be correct and stars would all have "flares" and not be round. B&L does not repair these scopes.

Sorry.

Foggy Objective Lens on

No where at a reasonable cost. The B&L 4000 is being sold for about $200 or so on Astromart.

You can remove the corrector lens and try cleaning it yourself. HOWEVER! it must be replaced in the exact position as it was before you disassembled it. If you rotate the lens by accident you will not be able to collimate the scope. Just make a small mark on the edge of the glass and the edge of the tube so you can line it back up when you put it back together.

There may be some small shims underneath the glass edge. These also must go back in exactly as they came out.

Lens fogged up on inside of bausch and lomb elite

there's been some sort of breach in your casing. either a crack in a les, or maybe in the housing, perhaps it was dropped. if you can't take it apart and dry out all the moisture, you'll probably have to have it replaced.
