Double check your wiring. You have your yellow wire (constant) running to your cigarette lighter. Red wire (accessory) running to your hot wire, and your black (ground) wire running to the black wire in your dash or a metal bolt? Definitely check where you have grounded the cd player. May not have a good ground. Normally the case. Let me know if you need anymore help.

Sony CDP-C910 will no longer play cds or eject changer cartridge

Mine did the same thing. My player was primarily used in the garage and the cold weather may have caused my player to do the same thing. I just fixed my player. I removed the top cover and looked at the CD in the play position. In the upper right corner from the CD, you will see a spindle motor with a belt on it. Gently spin the motor back and forth carefully with your finger. I rotated it a half-spin in either direction, careful not to dislodge the belt. When I turned the player back on, the mechanism operated as it normally would and began playing the disc. I was able to eject and reinsert the magazine without any issues, solving the problem. Hopefully that will work for you.

Cds are stuck in the default cd player of 2001 Dodge Intrepid. How do I get them out?

The first step is turning the car off. Then before turning the key back on, push and hold the Eject button then turn the ignition on. If the CD fails to eject then you can use a old CD and try to insert it into the CD Player, just as it try's to take your second CD pull it out and hit the Eject button again. This will usually get a Dodge CD player to Eject.
If this fails then the CD player must be removed and a manual eject can be performed.

Tivoli Audio Music System: CD wont eject

We've had the Tivoli Music System for 3 years. A CD became stuck in the player when I pressed the EJECT button before turning the player on. We tried turning it off and back on, unplugging it for a minute, removing the batteries and unplugging, etc. Nothing worked. I finally turned the player upside down in my lap, then turned on the CD player, and it said LOADING! Progress!!! I turned it right-side up and hit EJECT, and it worked like new. The CD loading mechanism had become bound up and simply needed a different "attitude" adjustment. Don't give up too early in attempting to fix these players on your own.

  1. go over all the wiring and make sure nothing came loose.
  2. find the reset button usually behind the face. reset the radio.
  3. make sure the face plate is completely on the head unit.

KW-AVX710 Screen stays black (off) untill I hit the open button

So I decided to verify all the connections after I got frustrated with it. Everything was correct except one wire that was on the new harness I got that for my car that was labeled "12V fused" (supposedly the key on power source). I tested it with my volt meter and it did not have power at any time, even with the key on. The constant power source wire was hooked up so that's why I was able to open the face and eject CD's and DVD's but not do anything else (like when your ignition is off). So I ran a new wire from my fuse panel and everything works now. Just like my Thermodynamcis professor says "nullius in verba" (take no one's word for it), just because the wire was labeled doesn't mean it's right! Hope this helps.....

JVC KD-LH300 problem

Any after-market CD player needs voltage on the yellow wire and on the red wire before it will turn on. The yellow wire is for a constant power source, and the red is for a key-switched power source. When you hook it up to your battery using only the yellow wire and the ground wire, it's similar to having it in your dash without turning the key on; ie, it will load and eject, but won't power up and play with the key off. Turning the key on sends voltage to the red wire.

CD do not eject

I have the same prob with mine right now and thats why I came here was to find the manual. In the manual it states that that when something like this happens you need to hold two buttons for a few seconds and what it does is it resets the cpu in the deck. I had to do it before and yes I was kind of leary of the solution also but IT WORKED!! Now I'll have to dig before posting this otherwise I didnt just create a common solution I talked about it. Ok while holding power/ATT press eject for more than two seconds, and it says careful not to drop the cd~~~DAAA Or to reset the unit: While holding SEL (select) press power/ATT for more than two seconds and that will reset the unit to factory defaults. And this was actually from my owners manual of which I found...
