Question about Electrolux 30" Built-In Double Electric Convection Wall Oven - Stainless-Steel
My wife spilled grease between the glass panes of the electrolux icon wall oven. How can you clean this? Is it easy to remove the inner glass pane?

I was getting the remove rack error until I finally figured out what it wanted me to remove. When you say you removed the rack supports, do you mean just the sliding parts or the whole side metal rack support? At first I thought they were bolted in, but I read somewhere that they come out, too. Upon further investigation, I found the rack supports just slide into the side walls at 4 points. I had to use a little force to pull them out, but they came out and my oven is self-cleaning as I write this. I just thought I would share in case you or others haven't figured it out yet. Now I will just have to see how hard it is to get them back in...

The only way to do this is to take the panes apart, clean and reassemble. This takes time and patience, but I'll bet you can do it. What ever brand it os, go that web site and see how many pieces there are to the panes. Then plan to a spend a couple of hours on it. Hope it works out great for you.

It will be difficult to find just the glass, have it shipped and fumble with getting it into those factory sealed doors. The entire door can be purchased for right about $50. Click here to see. There is not a picture associated with this item, but it is the correct part number.
GOOD LUCK AND PLS RATE THIS POST!!!!
