Question about SNK Vedette VLT2090 Top Load Washer

Open Question

It stops without draining and the flashing light indicates the pump filter is blocked. I removed the filter and cleaned it but there seems to be some grit in a hole in the part of the filter that is integral to the machine. Is that the blockage? I don't want to go through the whole business of bailing the water out and go at the grit with tweezers only to find out it still doesn't work; alternatively I don't want to wait the minimum 2 weeks it will take to get the repair man if it is something simple I can fix myself. Thanks for any advice! susan Walker

Miele Touchtronic w1203 , the intake and drain fault indicator lights are both flashing at the same time

Seems that the inlet valve or water flow is low , check the inlet flow or check for clogged filter.
Also check the lint filter and the cache filter. remove and clean drain pump. This must solve the issue.

Stops cycle reads suds or F2

The fault code indicates a draining problem and the display can be cleared by pressing the Pause/Cancel button twice. "Sud" code flashes 4 minutes after the pump is turned on and 4 minutes later "F02" flashes. Either the pump filter is blocked, the drain hose is clogged/kinked, the pressure switch is stuck in the full position, or the pump itself is not working.

Disconnect power and
remove the three screws attaching the lower front access panel to the cabinet then pull the panel down and off the cabinet. You can prop up the bottom front edge of the washer or cushion and lean it against the wall to access and remove the screws more easily.

Once the panel is off, remove the filter from the pump housing by turning the knob counterclockwise. Clean the filter from any debris that prevents water from draining out properly. Click on the link below for further troubleshooting should the cleaning of the filter does not resolve the problem.

Dishwasher miele g646sc-the inlet/drain light flashes yet the drain system is clean and working the inlet filter is clean and the filter washed

Hi dear.If the checked lights comes on after the main wash & then flashes(when on main wash cycle,if the main pump works for a few minutes & then stops for a while & so on...)that indicates main wash pump faulty. You need to replace the motor it self.I hope that helps.Thanks.

Flashing indicator lights

Truthfully it isnt a good sign. Not sure if yours has a reset fascility or not. If it does, reset it....If not, just use it untill it stops working. Make sure when it is running you take note of what is happening like is the water comming in: is the unit washing correctly: does the drain pump operate correctly:does the spin work correctly.(Rectify when problem area is found.)

Hello Paula,
Do not know how many flashes but 1green/1red = 11 water pressure low.
2green/1red = 21 blocked filter or pump fault.
You would be best firstly checking the filter and make sure it is clean and pump turns.with water drained and filter out shine torch into filter put on spin/drain and see if pump blade spins if not then try and turn with long screwdriver to free out any debris then refit filter and check for leaks and try donnt fill fully until you are happy it can drain water.
Hope I was of some help.

Good Luck

The error indicates that the machine has taken too long to drain the water. Do the following.

  1. Switch off the machine, unplug or disconnect the mains power to the machine and turn off the water supply to the machine.
  2. Remove the access panel on the lower right front of the machine.
3. Remove the filter and make sure that the filter is not blocked and is clean and clear of all debris. Clean as required. Note that if the machine has stopped and not fully drained then you may be able to drain out the excess water by removing or disconnecting the waste hose and laying it on the ground in a tray. It may take a few minutes to empty but it will save a small flood.
4. Proceed by checking the drain hose for proper connection and kinks and make sure that it is not blocked or restricted.
5. Also check that the main waste drain pipe and one way valve to a sink waste connection if you use one, is not blocked and clean if required.
6. Access the pump from under the lower rotor arm and protective grille and check that the impeller is free to move and is not clogged or restricted by debris or sludge. Clean as required.
7. Reconnect the power and switch the machine on.
If the problem persists then do the following.
8. Switch off the machine and disconnect the mains power.
9. Check the electrical connections at the pump and make sure it is operational.
10. Remove the connecting hoses, and expect water to drain out and make sure the pipes are not blocked with debris or any object blockage.
11. Reconnect the hoses and then reconnect power and switch the machine on.
12. If problem has not been corrected, then remove the pump and check that the drive coupling to the motor is OK and that the motor turns OK. If all is well then replace the pump.

Washing machine stops mid cycle and lights start flashing

Drain the water by lowering the hose into a bucket or something and then try it on spin, if it spins o/k then you probably have blocked pump or filter.
The filter is located in the large black hose that is fastened to the bottom of the drum, remove and clean.
Hopefully this will solve the problem.
Plz rate this solution.
Thanks.

Problem with wt540

Have you actually tried to pump water out, if you select a drain only position or drain and spin ,and hold the drain hose into a bucket or into the sink, you should see water pump out.
If it does not ,then you have a blockage somewhere, or your pump is faulty, assuming of course that the pump is getting power.
Plz leave feedback.
