Kohler - Coralais Pull-Out Spray Kitchen Faucet

When I turn the water on, I have a leak from what I think is the overflow hole that is located on the back of the faucet. Any suggestions on how to fix would be appreciated.

Te leak most likely is the cartridge you need to take the handle off and there will be a lock nut under where the handle was, turn the water supply off and remove the nut the cartridge will pull staight out, cartridges can't be repaired they need to be replaced. Watch out because some cartridges cost more than what the tap is worth

Call kohler (1-800-456-4537). I had the same problem and they are sending new valve and vacuum breaker free of charge.

Most cartridge's are specific to their faucet and need to be ordered from the manufacturer. Home Depot or another place like that, that carries Kohler plumbing supplies should be able to get one for you and may even have one in stock. Good luck.

Check under the sink to be sure the weight on the hose isn't resting on something, preventing it from retracting fully into the base. Also check to see if the weight might be in the wrong spot on the hose and not pulling the faucet back into the base properly.

Kohler Coralais K 15160 The body has a machined hole in the back, about the diameter of a toothpick. It has begun to leak water when the faucet is turned on, however this occurs once in awhile.

The front of the handle has a plastic button which can be removed with your thumb nail or tooth pick. Once the button is removed use a 1/8 allen wrench to remove the handle. Remove the decretive sleeve to access the top of the valve. Tighten the valve stem nut and reassemble. It the problem persists you may need a new valve or rubber seal. The best thing about Kohler is they offer a lifetime no leak warranty. I personally will buy Kohler faucets and toilets because of the quality and warranty. Delta has some hi end products but the support and warranty policies will make you never want to service a Delta product again. So if the faucet still leaks just call 1-800-456-4537, and they will send you a new faucet or parts.

Water volume slowed down

Sounds like you may possibly have some sediments in the screen on the spray head. When you pull the head out you can disconnect it from the flex supply line and see if the water pressure is okay with out the head connected. This will either confirm it is in the spray head or valve body.

Leaking kohler faucet

Where the spout pivots on the main body, there are a couple of washers, you can replace these washers pretty easily by removing the handle and then the "cover" from the unit. The water has to be shut off before you do this. I would take this oppurtunity to replace all the washers.

Are you sure the spray handle is allowing the valve to open enough to allow enough water through? The problem it seems like is physical or mechanical. I am assuming you get good water flow through the faucet itself.
