Unintall the current Itune and the download again new version then try if still the problem remains then change the cable to avoide this problem. after trying this, if the problem still exists, you should try this thing on another person's computer with new itune new cable and then see, evern then try restarting iphon or clean that part of your iphon where the data cable connected with computer. good luck

Have you got the latest iTunes?
Open up iTunes on your computer (Windows or Mac) then connect the iPhone to the USB Port via Charge Cable.
Make sure your connected to internet.
In LH Column click on your iPhone or it's Name.
(If there is no LH Column,
Go to View in Top Menu and select Show SideBar)

Click the BACKUP button. This does a backup of your iPhone software.
Check for updates. Your iPhone should be updated to IOS 7.1.2
That updates it's security & gets rid of any bugs & adds the latest capabilities.

How to restore a troublesome iPhone 3G!

If you have an iPhone 3G that is causing you problems or errors when you are trying to restore then hopefully this information can be useful to you.

If you are struggling to get your computer or iTunes to recognize your iPhone then put the device into recovery mode. To put the device into recovery mode, plug the iPhone into your computer, open iTunes, then hold the sleep button and the home button together for ten seconds before releasing the sleep button. Contine to hold the home button until iTunes pops up and tells you that a device has been detected that needs restoring.

Click restore and iTunes will download and restore the latest firmware to your device for you. Once the restore completes you can set up a new phone or restore al settings from a backup of a previous phone.

If after restoring you get an error message and your iPhone displays a plug into computer logo then we must go through some more steps to get your iPhone going.

This section is for users of 32 bit Windows, which is the majority of people. Download the iRecovery and libusb-32 package and install the libusb-32 file. Move the irecovery.exe file to C:irecoveryirecovery.exe

From your start menu go to Run and type cmd. Press enter and you will be presented with a black box with a command prompt. At the command prompt type C:irecoveryirecovery.exe -s and press enter.

Once your iPhone has been found you will have another command prompt. Now type the following commands:

setenv auto-boot true

Once again reboot your iPhone, holding sleep button and power button until the Apple logo displays, this time your phone should boot up into the normal iPhone interface.

With a bit of luck you have just restored your iPhone 3G!

I update my iphone 3gs 32 gb through itune now it is not showing only itune and usb cable icone in the display wat should i do

That means you need to activate it. You should put the original carrier sim that came with it. It doesn't have to be the sim card that actually came with it, but it has to be the same carrier in which your iPhone is locked. After inserting the carrier sim, your device will be good to go.

My iphone wont turn on , what will i do

put it in recovery mode
then restore it
here's how to be in recover mode:
Disconnect your iPhone and turn it off by holding the "Sleep/Wake" button for about five seconds and then sliding the red slider. If your iPhone is already off, there's no need to turn it on and then off again. Once it's off, press and hold the "Home" button and plug your iPhone into a Mac or PC with iTunes installed. Keep holding the "Home" button until you see a dock cable pointing to the iTunes icon. iPhones running older software will display a yellow triangle and text which says "Please Connect to iTunes". Once you see this image, you can release the Home button.
iphone_recovery_mode.jpg iPhone in Recovery Mode
Open iTunes (if it's not already open) and you will be told that "iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode." Click "OK" and you will be taken to the iPhone pane. Click "Restore" and you're done, it's that easy! Depending on the extent of your iPhone's ills, it may take some time to do a full restore. Once you're done, you should again have a perfectly working iPhone.
If this doesn't solve your problem, you may need to restore using DFU (Direct Firmware Upgrade) mode. To enter this mode, plug in your iPhone and turn it off. Hold down the "Home" and "Sleep/Wake" buttons for about twelve seconds. You'll briefly see the silver Apple logo and then your phone will appear to turn back off. Release the "Sleep/Wake" button but continue to hold the "Home" button until you see a message in iTunes stating that it has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. Choose "Restore" and you should be fixed right up!
If this doesn't fix your problem, your iPhone may require a visit to the Genius Bar. You can find a local Apple Store and schedule an appointment at
