Penetrating oil does the job apply on all bushing let it sit then try the unit if you need to apply a bit more then do so.

Bad ball joint. Lube got rid of squeak but now the worn part pops as you turn. Replace both sides to be safe.

I have a 2001 Dodge Intrepid and recently replaced the rear break pads. I've noticed that randomly; while, driving and pressing on the break petal, it sinks in slowly. What can I do to fix the problem?...

Check to make sure that you put brake grease on the back of the pad where it meets the caliper. Also, for the brake petal slowly sinking, this is most likely caused from air in the brake line. Make sure you bleed the brake lines and check for any possible leaks.

Just changed all brake pads and rotors on 2004 Buick Lesabre. There is a noice like a brake pad noise at partial pressing of brake petal. Is worse after traveling about 10 to 15 minutes

If it's just a slight squeak and then it goes away then it's probably brake dust. Some aftermarket brake pads will still squeak depending on what pads you got. It's a good idea to go with ceramic pads that have a cut down the center of the pad and the ends are chamfered. This will help disperse the brake dust and minimize any squeaking.

My 2003 chevy tahoe dashboard gauges stopped working, i don't know which fuses to check out. they would go out sometimes and then go back on when i restarted the car up. please help.

The dash cluster is know for two different problems.

If individual gauges bounced erratically and then quit, the little stepper motors that run them are bad. Upgrades are available from eBay, but you need PC soldering experience to change them out. An internet search will show allot of people who will rebuild the cluster for you.

If the entire cluster died all at once, the most common issue is bad solder joints near where the plug attaches to the board. This is an easier fix than the stepper motors, but still you need to be handy with a soldering iron!

I've had this problem years ago. If I remember, the flywheel pickup sensor on the left side of the flywheel is slightly misaligned. If you tweek it it should solve the problem.
