Find the probe from the thermostat, and move it away from the evaporator coils,it is in the front of the coils, behind the filter. If this was at all helpful, please rate, thank you.

Turned unit on for first time, it will not kick on

does the indoor fan blow? If it does you are getting the 24 volts from the thermostat to the ouside contactor need to check your contactor in the oustide unit this is what kicks on the compressor it take the 24 volts and goes to 230 volts to run the compressor and condensor fan. check your schematic for the placement of the contactor.

My Air Conditioner is Not kicking in only for 2

Can either be low on refrigerant or the compressor could be binding on start-up. You may well need a technician to help you fix this.

No forced air.... compressor unit and furnace do kick on

Bad blower motor/capicitor or relay. Check the fuse if it has one.

My roof dometic roof top air conditioner runs but will not cool when the motor kicks on it goes right back off and will not cool

Check run capacitor, or in the compressor wire box, there should be a little black overload that might be weak or loose connection.

Carrier air conditioner cycles on and off

The compressor/condenser is being called all the time. The reason it goes off is because the evaporator (indoors) freezes up when the fan is told to turn off by the thermostat. This further cooling lowers the low side pressure below the low limit switch point turning off the compressor unit.
Solution: Make sure the thermostat is wired correctly. Green wire is usually the compressor wire but maybe not.

Hi I'm Steve... Amana SSE80 Furnace Model GUIC070CA40 MFG # P1229003F Furnace works but air handler blower stops after 5 1/2 minutes, burner continues till high-T limiter triggered (See details) Problem: All steps for furnace work fine except 5 1/2 minutes (almost like clockwork) after air handler starts up fine, runs fine, runs smooth and quiet it stops and the furnace inductor blower/heat continue until it trips the high temp limit and shuts all down. After verifying two or three times after cools down I started killing heater before the furnace high heat limiter trips for subsequent tests after a new filter was installed and I verified no obstructions and a free spinning blower. When we first ran the furnace we did get a rubber/electric burning smell not like the gas/dust burn we are accustomed to at the start of seasonal use and the smell comes back some just before shut down. The back of the motor is warm and the body is quite hot to the touch. If I had to guess I'd say bearings or other going in motor and thermal protection for motor kicking in. Your thoughts? Other: Last summer the A/C condenser had issues while I was out of the country. I had a tech come by and verified a bad controller. I ordered a refurbished controller and walked son through how to change over skype. That fixed that problem but may have issues on the furnace side though I can't imagine what that might be based on the consistent failure sequence and timing each time. Your thoughts? Recap of what works: -- Calls for heat fine, furnace inductor blower engages as it should, -- Ignitor fires and burns blue and clean non stop until high heat limit reached, -- Air handler blower starts smooth and runs smooth but dies after +/- 5.5 minutes. -- Replaced air filter, old one not that dirty. Blower free spins by hand, no rub, no noise I have two larger Amana units as well and had to replace one. I scavenged the blower unit with mounted controller and the controller should still be good. The blower motor looks like the same frame type but is a 3/4HP where the SSE 80 is a 1/2HP.
