Question about Whirlpool Refrigerators
Yes both the parts look near to similar.But actually the voltages are different in both the parts.And also its not the exact same part.So it will not fit directly.But in case you get it any how fitted.Then also due to Kenmore voltage is higher then whirlpool.
But still get both this parts checked by a refrigerator technician and ask him to confirm the voltage .And if its risky then ask him to connect voltage control resistor or in to the ice-maker circuit so you can get it connected without any voltage issues.
Also to confirm first remove both the ice-makers from the unit.At the back side of the unit there is voltage and current description mentioned.Check out that.If its exact same then you can go for replacement.
