SOURCE: my xplod amp gets power

If the power light is lit and the amp is not in protect mode, the power supply is probably blown.

Have you confirmed that you have a good signal reaching the amp and that the speakers are not blown?

I Have a Sony Xplod 800 watt amp and 2 12 inch Sony Xplod subs

You should definately bridge them. Firstly, lay the 2 speakers face down next to each other. Note the connections +- +-. The first + will go to the amplifier. The next terminal(-) will be connected to the next speaker(+). Take the last(-) and connect to amplifier. Please note that your amplifier has a bridge section which is normally the first + and the last- on the two channels. Connect your woofers on the bridge.

I have a sony xplod car music system it is showing failure whenever i switch it on ... Can u help me plz ...thnks

Ground Wire!! If your amp is not properly grounded there is a safety chip in there that disables it. I always tell my friends to use a 4 guage wire and I always make a ground point especially for the amp. For the best results use some form of abrasive to remove the coating on the bottom of your trunk and bolt that ****** in. Let me know if this fixes your issues

I had the same problem as you. The problem is the wiring from your speakers to your amp TRIPLE check your wiring. Make sure that none of them got disconnected or connected to the wrong wire.

Xplod to a jvc

I would recommend using an 8 AWG minimum or preferably 4 AWG power and ground cable. Use as short a ground lead as possible and connect it directly to some chassis metal (avoid accidentally screwing into the gas tank if in trunk). Use a fuse holder with a 40 - 60 amp fuse under the hood within 18 inches of the battery. Your RCA cable coming from the back of the JVC radio should be run to your amp along with the remote turn on lead. This wire should connect to the JVC's amplifier turn on lead which should be a blue wire with a white stripe.
