A couple of my dad's computer keys keep sticking

A couple of my dad's computer keys keep (the a, i, and sometimes the shift key) sticking or something. Always the same ones. I press them but the letters don't work. He has a laptop. Can't seem to get anyone to help with the problem. Computer people don't respond to his calls. He really needs his computer. Please help with possible solutions. We've tried unplugging and restarting. Tried using air dust remover in case something was stuck. Please help

If you have tried the air duster then th next step is to carefully prise the keys up and clean beneath tham with a solven ion a cloth. after this a new KB. If the keys are faulty then it is the only way to go

Ctrl + fn + right shift key twice

So hold ctrl + fn + right shift key then release the right shift key but keep holding the ctrl + fn keys down then push the right shift key again and that should deactivate it

Trying to install my copy of word on netbook without cd

  • Insert a blank memory stick or card into a USB port of a computer that has a CD drive.
  • Place your Microsoft Word software CD into the CD drive of your computer.
  • Hold down the "Shift" key as you close the CD drive. This will prevent the CD from automatically installing Microsoft Word on the computer.
  • Open the CD drive. The files that are on the CD will appear in a window. Click on the first file that appears. Then hold down the "Shift" key and click on the last file so that you select all of the files.
  • Release the "Shift" key. Then hover your mouse over any file and right-click. Select the "Copy" option from the context menu.
  • Open the memory stick. Hover your mouse over the memory stick window and right-click. Select the "Paste" option to copy the files onto your memory stick. Close the memory stick and right-click on the memory stick icon with your mouse. Select the "Eject" choice from the menu to safely remove the memory stick.
  • Insert thememory stick into the USB slot of your netbook.
  • Open the memory stick . The top of the screen should have an Setup.exe icon. Double-click on this file to begin the process of installing Microsoft Word.

My shift keys keep sticking down and move around like something is either broken under the key or, it just has something sticky down in it. My question is wich screws in the back do I unscrew to...

    Hi!
Keys are designed to be removable from the front, you just have to be careful.
Get a flatheaded screwdriver and stick it under the shift key then gently (!) start pulling up. When you feel that it clicked out the lift it up gently and remove the small wire supporting it (note not all keyboards have it).
When you're done cleaning it just stick it back.
    Good luck!

I have a 1990 chevy camero rs 3.1 liter v6 auto, when i turn the key the starter will not engage, no noises or any thing, i have replaced the starter n its still doing the same thing

check voltage at battery has to be 12 volts , turn lights on see if they work when u turn key, if not bad ground wire from battery or at frame, check volt gauge inside car see if it drops when u turn key, if so battery is likely problem.
