It is possible that the signals are weak and hence it is HUNTING for the signal. First of all check your antennae, see if there is a connection fault or a weak cable line. try to change the antenne and test. If not there is failure weakness within the set. Put the set on for long duration and see if there is a change if so there could be weakness in the components of the radio signal front amp/ the IF sections. Try to warm and check if this helps.Good day
