Question about HP Photosmart C6380 All-In-One InkJet Printer
I have a HP Photosmart C6380 printer when I turn it on, the ink cartilages move all the to the left and I get clear paper jam then press OK. Couldn't find any paper any where in the printer then I hit Ok and I get an error saying "Improper shutdown" to turn off the printer with the on switch and not to pull the plug. then The ink holder will slam into the left of the printer and I get "Clear paper Jam then Press OK
It is likely that you have had a jam which damaged the sensor when you removed it (itr if you print lables gunked it up). If it is likely to be gunked up you could strip and clean but to be honest it is probably not worth the time. If this has iccurred following a jam - unless you have another identical machine for spares bin it and get a new one as the parts are difficult to come by and labour will be steep unless you can do it yourself of course
