Question about Toshiba TDP-S8 Multimedia Projector
I plugged in my Toshiba DLP projector one day and I heard a small pop. A light amount of smoke shot out from the projector interior. It appeared to be a surge on the system. Any chance of fixing? or should I forget about it.
Sounds like a blown capacitor...they age...leak..and bulge..
and then blow out...
Check (visually) all the capacitors on your power supply board...
if they are fat, bulging or leaking...they should be replaced.
