Question about Computers & Internet

1 Answer

The colors printed by my printer are greenish instead of the colors shown on my screen. How do I fix this problem? Mu printer is a KodakESP-3 All in One printer. It uses the regular Kodak ink with a ''10'' on both the color and black cartridges. Mu problem is as I described it in my originall question. The prints have a greenish tint to them. Other than that, I can't explain more. Hopefully you can help. Thanks in advance.

Im not realy familiar with Kodak printers but my best advice would be change the scaling in the printer settings. There should be a setting that allows you to alter the coloration, if not try cleaning the cartridges. There should be a selection for that within your printer settings.

My printer is printing greenish instead of neutral in bw mode

Hello,

The printhead maybe dirty or you changed the position of one cartridge by error.

Else, maybe you are printing in color mode, being bypassed the BW mode.

Thanks.

I have a kodak ESP-3 all in one printer that has a new black, and new color ink cartridge, and the printer does not print any colors. only prints black, grey, and a litte bit of greenish tint.

Inkjet printers do not like being left unused.
The color print head may be blocked. Try several deep cleaning of the print head to see if it can clear the blocked print nozzles.
If none of this works then the print head needs to be replaced.
A new cartridge will not solve this problem.
NOTE the print head is not a cheap item, you may consider putting the money towards a new and better printer.

Printing is in green

Check the print settings. I guess you are printing black texts in black color without proper settings.

Open the Printers and Faxes from the Control panel, (or from the Start Menu), right-click the printer's icon, select "Printing Preference" and from the printing preference window, click "Features" as shown below,

Click "print in grayscale" then select, "Black ink Only", click "Apply" then "Ok", now try print again. You'll need to restart the program (if you are printing from a program like Ms-word, etc..). This should fix the issue.

This happens when the color is set to high quality, means it uses only the color cartridge instead of the black cartridge.

If you need further help, let me know.

Good luck

Thanks for using FixYa.

Ref.: BJC 620 I cannot get true black print, instead I get sort of greenish color where the black shoud be.

Hello, look at what cartridges are being used and what is status indication? There are several things to think about, as follows:

1) Is there a good black cartridge? Many color ink-jet printers will print black using color cartridges if black is out, low, or bad.

2) Can you use a standalone copy mode - if possible for your printer -and get good/correct copy colors (not using the computer)?

2) Have any cartridges been refilled manually? I have done this where I thought I refilled a cartridge with the right color and filled it with the wrong one by accident -oops. Please try different cartridges.

3) Is your printer color problem the same when using any or all programs? If it is and you are sure all the cartridges are OK then use your printer software to reset all the settings to a default factory settings and try again.
