How can i clear my aspire 3680 and repair so that it is like factory again. Physical memory is at 99% and cannot function

Whilst this error can occur due to a faulty hard drive or corrupt page file, but is also a symptom of faulty RAM memory. Unless you have heard "clunking" noises from your new hard drive, its unlikely to be the new disk this time.

Re-seat the memory first. If you have two memory modules installed try removing one at a time (see page 67 of the manual here ftp://ftp.work.acer-euro.com/notebook/aspire_5600/manual/AS%205600_3680.pdf )

Check the System Log in Event Viewer for additional error messages that might help pinpoint the device causing the error. Disabling memory caching of the BIOS might also resolve it. Finally, if all the above steps fail to resolve the error, take the system to a repair facility for diagnostic testing. If you the laptop is overheating, or you can't hear the fan running then fan failure might also be a possible cause.

try to use the units of the service mode and you'll know if it will stop to conduct all want to move, if you're safe mode same problems clear memory of the unit and restore, if all is done and is still the same problem and one that it is the latter which can make the format laptop.good luck and have a nice day

Since it is a problem of physical memory dump the OS has to be reloaded again this will set right the system

Sounds like you have gotten stuck in presentation mode. Hold down the function Key (Fn) its blue, and then hit the (F5) key once. If the screen doesn't come back, press both again.

u need to replace the memory.......open the memory dock at the bottom end of the notebook....have the battery and ac power removed......if there is 2 memory modules....remove 1 at a time reboot the system to check which 1 is giving you trouble....

if there is only 1 memory module ull need to change this

That is a memory fault code my friend you going to have to do one of two things if its under warrenty you need to seek the advice of the manufacture because my solution would possiably void the warranty. Next step purchase a memory module for this laptop and install it and try again..

if you want to become well again the performance of computer / laptop you will need to re-install the windows and still re-format the C drive, the error is often obtained by virus and deteriorative system32 of windows, good luck

What I wanted you to clarify was the message that you noted as "something to the effect of 'Beginning of physical damage'", but you only saw it the one time I see on rereading the post, so never mind.

Have you tried doing a factory restore using the recovery media? Try pressing Alt + F10 on booting to get to eRecovery Management.
